Frequently asked questions

Which regex flavor is used?

JavaScript regular expressions, exactly as your browser runs them, including flags g, i, m, s, u, and y.

Why do I only see one match?

Without the g (global) flag a regular expression stops at the first match. Add g to find them all.

Do I need to escape backslashes?

No. Type the pattern as you would between slashes in JavaScript, for example \d+ for one or more digits.

Private by design

Everything runs in your browser. The text you paste is not uploaded, stored, or logged by AblePro.
